Anagram Solver
Enter your letters to find every word that's an anagram of them — using all of your letters, rearranged. Filter by starting or ending letter to narrow things down.
How the anagram solver works
Type in a full set of letters and hit Solve Anagram. Unlike the word finder, which shows every word buildable from a subset of your letters, the anagram solver only shows words that use all of your letters, rearranged — so "listen" would return words like "silent" and "enlist," each exactly six letters long.
Want shorter words made from just some of your letters instead? Try the Word Finder. Have a longer phrase and want it split across multiple words instead of one? Try the Phrase Anagram Solver.
A true anagram uses the entire set of letters you provide, exactly once each, which makes this tool a good fit for word puzzles that give you a jumbled word and ask what it unscrambles to, or for finding every valid play when you want to place all your remaining tiles at once in a game like Scrabble or Words With Friends. Longer letter sets tend to have fewer full anagrams than short ones, since every letter has to be used.
As with the other tools, you can switch between the "Common" and "Extended" word lists, and clicking any result shows its dictionary definition without leaving the page.

Frequently asked questions
- What counts as an anagram here?
- A word that uses every one of your input letters exactly once, rearranged — no letters left over and none reused beyond how many times they appear in your input.
- Why do I get fewer results than the word finder?
- The anagram solver requires using all of your letters, while the word finder allows any subset. Longer letter sets tend to have fewer full anagrams than short ones.
- Can I use this for Scrabble or Words With Friends?
- Yes — enter your full tile rack to see every valid word that uses all of your tiles at once, which is useful when you want to play out your entire rack in one move.
